Houston native, LaToya Martin has served as an hearing health advocate throughout Texas over the last several years. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in communications disorders from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, LaToya went on to complete an apprenticeship program to obtain her state license in Hearing aid fitting and dispensing in 2014.
As a young girl, she was bullied in school, because she suffered with tinnitus a common hearing difficulty, as well as a mild speech impediment. Despite the bullying she has always had the passion to help others just like her. Now, she uses her resilience to help others by offering early intervention treatment options for individuals with communications disorders such as hearing loss, She has worked with all major hearing aid manufactures and has helped over 1000 +lives hear and live better. Her passion for hearing health drives her success to continue to make a difference in her community for the future.
